Can you explain that statement, because I am not sure where and how you are making this cut?

Thank you again for this post!
AmyEveryday Life of Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18300272195182084536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450926564221225084.post-6053642764442234032012-01-04T20:42:53.919-05:002012-01-04T20:42:53.919-05:00Great tutorial, Jess! But I've tagged and saved your fool-proof (I hope!) instructions and am looking forward to trying them. I'm another who hasn't tried to strike much other than the stuff that would be embarrassing if it didn't take because it strikes if you drop a cutting on the ground (read: buddleia) But I'm going to have to try this method out too when the temperature drops back a little.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450926564221225084.post-17897898284037557832011-12-30T17:30:09.826-05:002011-12-30T17:30:09.826-05:00I haven't ever had rootings fall to the dampin...I haven't ever had rootings fall to the damping off, though I do have lots of seedlings keel over that way... I think this is why I like rooting stuff! My success factor on the seeds taking is about 50% and living to adulthood is 10%. Pretty pathetic. Rooting is way easier!

I meant to mention that I do suspect that the combo of sterile environment and probably perfect rooting lighting is what's making this work so well. My step mom has a window where she can also root nearly everything: super bright for the majority of the day but zero direct light.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524574998937986323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450926564221225084.post-80463229789830338762011-12-30T14:48:52.832-05:002011-12-30T14:48:52.832-05:00You have inspired me to fill every container I hav...You have inspired me to fill every container I have with cuttings. I once rooted some rosemary when I cut it to cook with and forgot about it. I felt proud. Not that I forgot but that it rooted. Did I mention that I really want to root something now?
