Now, the only reason I like them, is because he have such an open yard with no mature trees nearby, that they never VISIT my yard. Otherwise, I'd probably hate them too ;)
Jess I am so laughing out loud right now..I even have tears in my eyes from laughing so much...I think it says it all and I couldn't agree more...do I have stories...my arch enemy right now is the dreaded vole...ugh!
I agree - they bury acorns, and I dig out little oak trees, they make holes in the lawn and I patch it up, they break tender new rose canes (absolute anathema around here) and I get upset. And on and on. I hope yours can read signs.
Lets see, they dig up and take one bite out of every bulb, the dig up all your newly planted annuals and throw them on the patio, the bury pecans and grow 1000 new trees a year. They get in my attic and run around like maniacs.
They don't know it yet, but I am done with squirrels.

ReplyDeletelol...what have they done?? squirrels, deer, voles, rabbits...we have them all here. it's amazing anything survives!
